Trust and reliability
Plain answers about fees, tax, disputes, uptime, and taking your data with you. No surprises, because your income runs through here.
One fee, and card processing is on us
The platform fee is a flat 8% of what your audience pays you, and it is the only deduction from your earnings. Card-processing costs are ours, not passed through to you, so your net is simply the gross the viewer paid less 8%. We may change the fee structure for future earnings on at least 30 days notice, in-product and by email. Changes are never retroactive.
We are the merchant of record, so we handle sales tax and VAT
Audience checkouts run on our account. Tax on those payments is calculated and collected at checkout based on the viewer's location and remitted by us, so you do not register for or file sales tax and VAT on audience sales. You remain responsible for income tax on the payouts you receive.
Disputes and chargebacks, handled predictably
If a viewer disputes a charge, we handle the process. Recent earnings sit for a short hold before they can pay out, and payouts pause while a dispute is open, so a reversal is settled from held funds rather than clawed back after the money has left. When a dispute is resolved in your favor, the affected earnings are restored automatically.
Refunds, stated plainly
Plan fees and audience purchases are non-refundable except where the law requires it, and partial periods and overage are not refunded. If a payment is reversed or refunded, the matching earning is reversed too. We would rather you know this up front than find it in the fine print.
Uptime and status
We aim for reliable, uninterrupted service, and we publish live status so you never have to guess. The status page is hosted separately from the main site and combines two signals: our own internal checks and independent checks that hit the site from outside our systems, so it stays accurate even during an outage. Planned maintenance and any incident show up there in real time.
View live statusYour audience and data are portable
Your subscriber list is yours. From your dashboard you can export your full member roster, with emails, tiers, billing status, dates, lifetime value, and Stripe customer ids, as CSV or JSON, and the same data is available through the API. If you ever close a show, its content stays recoverable for 30 days before it is removed. Owning your domain is good; owning a portable customer list matters more.
