Trust and Reliability

Plain answers about platform fees, tax and merchant of record, disputes and chargebacks, refunds, uptime, and exporting your audience and data.

Your income runs through this platform, so you deserve plain answers before you move your audience here. Everything below matches how the product actually works, not marketing. If anything here is ever unclear, ask us.

Fees: one fee, and card processing is on us

The platform fee is a flat 8% of what your audience pays you, and it is the only deduction from your earnings. Card-processing costs on the audience payment are ours, not passed through to you.

That means your net is simple: the gross the viewer paid, less 8%. There is no separate processing line on your side, and no second percentage hiding in the fine print. Every earning is recorded in your ledger as gross, fee, and net, and the net is what pays out.

We may change the fee structure for future earnings on at least 30 days notice, delivered in-product and by email. Any change is never retroactive and applies only to earnings recorded after it takes effect.

Tax: we are the merchant of record

Audience payments (subscriptions, gifts, event tickets, and coin purchases) run on our account, and we are the merchant of record for them. Sales tax and VAT on those payments are calculated at checkout from the viewer’s location and remitted by us. You do not register for, collect, or file sales tax and VAT on your audience sales.

You remain responsible for income tax on the payouts you receive, the same as any other income. We provide the earnings and payout records you need for that.

Disputes and chargebacks

If a viewer disputes a charge with their bank, we handle the dispute process.

To keep a reversal from becoming a clawback after your money has already left, two things happen automatically:

  • A short hold on recent earnings. New earnings sit briefly before they are eligible to pay out, so a disputed charge is settled from held funds.
  • A pause on payouts while a dispute is open. Payouts resume once the dispute is resolved.

When a dispute is resolved in your favor, the affected earnings are restored automatically. You do not need to file a ticket to get them back.

Refunds

Plan fees and audience purchases are non-refundable except where the law requires it, and partial billing periods and overage are not refunded. If a payment is reversed or refunded, the matching earning is reversed as well, so your ledger always reflects money actually kept.

We would rather state this plainly here than have you discover it in the terms.

Uptime and status

We aim for reliable, uninterrupted service, and we publish a live status page so you never have to guess whether an issue is on our side. The status page is hosted separately from the main site and combines two signals: our own internal health checks and independent checks that hit the site from outside our systems, so it reports honestly even during an outage. Planned maintenance and any active incident appear there in real time.

As with any online service, uninterrupted access is not guaranteed, and the terms describe the limits. The status page is how you see reality as it happens.

Your audience and data are portable

Your subscriber list is yours, and you can take it with you at any time.

  • Member export. From Monetization → Members in your dashboard, export your full roster as CSV or JSON. It includes each member’s email, username, tier, status, start and end dates, lifetime value, and Stripe customer id, so you can reconcile against your own records or move to another tool.
  • API access. The same roster is available through the public API (GET /api/v1/members, Advanced tier), so you can automate exports.
  • Account export. Individual accounts can download their own personal data from privacy settings.
  • Leaving a show. If you close a show, its content stays recoverable for 30 days before it is removed, and backups are retained only for the limited archival period described in the terms.

Owning your domain is useful. Owning a portable customer list matters more, and you always have it here.
