Buying a Ticket to a Live Event

How to buy a ticket to a creator's live event, what it includes, and how refunds affect access.

Audience: Viewers Status: User Guide

Some creators sell tickets to individual live events instead of (or alongside) an ongoing subscription. This guide covers buying a ticket, what it includes, and what happens if you get a refund. For an ongoing membership, see Subscribing to Creators.

Buying a ticket

  1. Open the event’s episode page. If tickets are on sale, you will see a Buy Ticket button showing the price, and a countdown once a start time is set.
  2. Select Buy Ticket and continue to Stripe Checkout, the secure checkout the platform uses, to complete your payment.

You need to be signed in to buy a ticket. A ticket is a one-time payment, not a recurring charge.

What a ticket includes

A ticket covers the live broadcast plus a replay window afterward set by the creator, so you can watch back after the event ends even if you weren’t able to watch live. The exact replay length is set by the creator for that event.

Refunds

If your ticket purchase is refunded, your access to the event is removed. If tickets are still on sale, you can buy a new ticket afterward. If you believe you were charged in error, contact the creator or Third Coast TV support.
