If a comment on an episode breaks the rules, you can flag it for the creator’s moderation team to review. This guide covers how to flag a comment, the reasons you can choose, the one-flag-per-comment rule, and what happens after you report.
You need to be signed in to flag a comment.
How to flag a comment
- Find the comment in the section below the video.
- Open the … menu on that comment, or select Report beneath it.
- Choose the reason that fits best.
That sends the report to the creator. You do not need to write anything else for the report to go through.
Reasons you can choose
When you report a comment, you pick one reason:
- Spam. Unsolicited advertising.
- Harassment. Targeted abuse or bullying.
- Hate Speech. Discriminatory language.
- Illegal Content. Something that violates laws or regulations.
- IP Infringement. A copyright or trademark violation.
- Other. A general terms of service violation.
One report per comment
You can report a given comment once. After you report it, that comment shows as Reported for you, so you can tell it has already been sent. If you have already reported a comment, trying again will not file a second report.
What happens after you report
Your report goes to the creator who owns the episode and to their moderation team. They review flagged comments alongside the rest of their moderation work and decide whether to keep or remove the comment. If they remove it, a [removed by moderator] marker takes its place in the thread.
Moderation is handled by each creator for their own community, so how quickly a report is acted on depends on that creator and their team. There is no separate platform-wide review of individual comments.
